It was a dark and stormy knight. . .

I finally gave in and watched The Dark Knight this evening. What can I say about this movie that hasn't already been said and doesn't spoil anything? It's a dark movie as the title implies, it made me take a look at the darker side of my own persona, and I found it funny when the pencil disappeared. I liked the journey this movie took me on, which was another pleasant surprise because I was just expecting more of what the last movie was. And curse me but I liked The Joker and I tended to see things the way he saw them. This scares me more than anyone. Overall I compare this movie to The Empire Strikes Back, want to know why? Go watch it for yourself.
